What to do with a fussy baby?

Ever wondered what to do with a fussy baby? Well, if you have a vibrating bed, you are in luck! Ashlynn wouldn't stop crying, so Nana held her in bed with it on vibrate. It worked like a charm!

Ashlynn's First 5K

Ashlynn and I walked in our first 5K on May 12. It was for a great cause, http://declansfoundation.bbnow.org/.  We walked with our friend Cassandra from Sunday School and it was a great time!

Fun at Nana and Papa's!

Ashlynn loves spending time with Nana and Papa at their house. She has a fun tummy time mat and of course there is always lots of holding time!

Mother's Day Cookout

It was so great for all of us to get together to celebrate, we have not done it enough this year. This is the fourth year in a row we've gone to the park and it's such a fun tradition. It was extra special that Mom was finally able to join us. Maybe next year Lorie could join us as well!

My First Mother's Day

My first mother's day was perfect. Mom, Ashlynn and I went to breakfast together, which Ashlynn slept through peacefully. Then we had an afternoon cookout at the park with almost the whole NC family. Ashlynn got me a very sweet card and present...she did a great job helping daddy pick out the perfect one.
